Picture of the Month #58
This month we have one of our cousins from Zuffenhausen, a rare and elusive Cayman Cabriolet belonging to orange 987, one of the longest and most active members of the Cayman Register. His Orange (yes, that's the official factory name) ’08 987 Boxster, Limited Edition (#57/250) is shown entered in the concours at Chicago Region’s annual Labor Day “TRAC” event at Road America. This is his sixth Porsche, and French Lick was his 31st consecutive Porsche Parade. |

Thanks for the compliments, guys. It'll be parked in the Boxster Corral at RR5, and I'll be roaming around, wearing my red Porsche suspenders and probably an orange hat, and volunteering in the PCA Hospitality tent on Sunday morning.

One of the best colors out there IMHO. Almost got a variant of that from Brumos in a special Cayman they had (Brumos Racing Orange I think theirs was called). Fretted over it and a Speed Yellow one we had a latch on for 24 hours too long. Decided on the Brumos deal and called back the NEXT day and it was SOLD! Still 'happy as a clam' with Speed Yellow but every time I see an Orange Porsche I sigh... :smile:

It's not called ORANGE987 for nothing! Congrats to Lee for having the first convertible Cayman on the CR masthead!
