Picture of the Month #23

Kicking off the new year with something different: PistolPete's car, shot by Peter Moy. Pete has
finally trained his trusty camera on his own car for a change, for this early Fall '11 shot with the
New Jersey cliffs providing the colorful backdrop at the base of the George Washington Bridge.

Nikon D200
Nikon AF 80-200mm f/2.8D lens
Aperture priority, probably around f/4 or f/3.2

The lighting made the difference, this was early in the morning and the sun had just climbed over the horizon.

Love the colors in the BG, love the angle of the shot on the Cayman with its wheels turned in. It just looks fierce.
