Really nice pic in a truly iconic turn. Good job by both Pete and Gonzo. Makes me miss hanging out with you guys on the track even more. And I just can't find the damn "Poppier" button on my photo editor... lol

I haven't been to VIR in at least 30 years (maybe longer) but I saw that oak and knew exactly where that picture was taken. As an SCCA/IMSA corner captain I used to work the turn just before Oak Tree. Thanks for the memories. Great picture!

I got a new computer monitor and the picture looks even more poppier and luminous now.

Thanks for the various Pictures of the month. Brought back wonderful memories.


Sad the Oak Tree fell down in a storm. I miss that noble landmark. Thanks again. Ed

That IS a great photo of a beautiful car. I got to make quite a few rounds under that old oak in my Audi before it fell. Unfortunately the Cayman will make it's first trip there this November and round the corner with no shade. I wonder if I'll be able to find the apex? :-)
