Picture of the Month #22
It's time for some on-track action one last time in 2011… so, here's gemars pushing his '06 Cobalt Blue Cayman S up the hill towards the exit of Laguna Seca's turn 5 this last September 9. As you can see, Greg's excellent driving (not to mention that new 3.8L race motor), was making it a particularly daunting task for yours truly (chasing Greg in the black #0) to keep up. ⓒ 2011 David Wong/avatarnumedia.com |

I didn't realize how much my suspension was compressing in that turn, but I do recall you didn't seem to have much trouble keeping up. Too bad we both got black flagged for sound! :rolleyes2:

Really???? I don't recall you sharing that info with me at Oktober Fiesta. :-) I think I will have to take you up on your offer to take it out for a few laps. I was interested in doing so just for the LSD, but a 3.8 too??? Surely it will spoil me forever and cause me to hate my bone stock CS, but what the heck. A few Fiestas ago, a member let me take some laps in his GT3, and I and my bank account survived. BTW, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Beez! Brian |

Re: Picture of the Month #22
Wow... You guys got black flagged with factory exhausts....?
|
Sorry Brian, I thought you knew I blew my engine in March. $40,000 later I got my toy back with a 3.8 race engine, that's why I wanted you to drive it! Interestingly its still not as quick as my wife's bone stock '09 997 C2S....
And I blew a 98 dB & Brad blew a 94 dB with stock exhausts. Even non S Caymans were over 92 dB. Sent from my Droid |
