Manual control of the rear spoiler
When the ignition is on, the rear spoiler can be extended and retracted manually using the button
in the center console.
Note
When the rear spoiler is extended manually, the automatic control does not operate and the rear
spoiler must be manually retracted.

The combination of mountains, clouds and sky makes a spectacular backdrop for
MtnCroc's cobalt blue '06 Cayman S last May near Mountain Green, Utah. The
mountain in the background is the backside of Mt. Ogden and at the far right is
part of Snowbasin where the downhill was held for the 2002 winter Olympics.

 Help celebrate Dr. Porsche's birthday
September 3rd is the birthday of Prof. Dr. Ing. h.c. Ferdinand Porsche. We all are in his debt for starting a little company that has turned out cars that have stroked the imagination and passion of several generations of fans.
We at the Cayman Register and PCA thought it would be nice to celebrate his birthday with a small contest and giveaway. Tell us in this thread what you would ask or say if you had the chance to sit down and have a (German) beer with the good Dr. Porsche.
So, if you would like to win one of three Cayman Register labeled hats, you have only a couple of weeks to enter. Winners will be picked at random from those who respond to this thread.

Welcome a new forum - Cayman Motoring
We are happy to announce a new forum for our members to share photos and stories about driving their Caymans and having fun in non-track events. Just cruising to a new road, gathering with other owners for a meal in some new restaurant, checking out the produce stands in the countryside, going on a picnic, or you name it.
There are many ways that Cayman owners get a lot of pleasure from driving their cars and we would like to hear about it and have it shared here. So, we scraped around and found ten more of the Porsche produced collectible Cayman DVDs and will give one to each of the first ten members who post stories plus photos about their favorite drives.
